Odalys Molina
Odalys Molina serves as news anchor for Noticiero 47 Telemundo Primera Edición (Telemundo 47 News First Edition). In addition, Molina anchors Noticiero 47 Telemundo Al Mediodía (Telemundo 47 News at Noon) which airs weekdays at noon. In this role, Molina delivers breaking news and important information to viewers throughout New York's tri-state area.
Molina first joined Telemundo 47 in 1991, starting her journalism career as a news intern. Over the past 29 years, she has served as news correspondent and entertainment presenter. In addition, she has collaborated with Telemundo Network for programming such as Al Rojo Vivo.
Molina has been recognized with eight Emmy® Awards, three of the most recent were awarded in 2023. She has also received several community recognitions, including a proclamation from the City of New York and another from the former New York Governor George E. Pataki, all recognizing her coverage of the issues that impact the Tri-State’s Hispanic community.
She has also received four awards from the Association of Entertainment Chroniclers for categories that include "Best Anchor” and “Best Host of Entertainment Program", and has served as the "Godmother" of several parades in the tri-state area, such as the New York Hispanic Parade and the New Jersey Cuban Parade, to name a few.
A proud graduate of Montclair State University, Molina recently returned to her alma mater where she served as an Adjunct Professor for the School of Communication and Media. She is a devoted mother of two, including a child with special needs. Molina is an advocate for the rights of the disabled.
